Challenge and Solutions

When Luminate Broadband hired us, their biggest challenge was connecting with the local population. In fact, many residents in the area didn’t even know that Luminate is a local company. Whatever we did, we knew our campaigns would need to earn the trust of the tight-knit community. By integrating people from the region into our advertising efforts, we are forging real connections with potential customers. We conducted in-depth market research and are shooting photos of people who actually live in Luminate’s service territory. These campaigns are creating buzz throughout the area, and we are excited to see how they transform into deeper trust and higher take rates down the road.

Results

The ongoing Faces of Luminate campaign gives Luminate a chance to prove themselves as a trustworthy local brand. We put up a billboard outside of Craig, Colorado that doesn’t just sell internet; it celebrates a local community member and her horses — content that is highly relatable to the audience.  When people see their friends and neighbors featured on billboards and ads, it creates excitement that touches even the hardest-to-reach potential clients. We are constantly monitoring the results of Faces of Luminate to see how we can best capture the heart of the region. The jury is still out, but we believe that when the time comes to switch internet providers, people will flock to the company they can trust.
